Hebei Engineering and Technology College is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school was founded in 1997. In 2001, with the approval of the Hebei Provincial People's Government, Shijiazhuang Law and Business Vocational College was established and began to implement the national planned enrollment. In 2011, Shijiazhuang Law and Business Vocational College was renamed Shijiazhuang City Vocational College, and it was the first among similar colleges in the province to pass the evaluation of higher vocational and technical college talent training by the Hebei Provincial Department of Education. In 2014, the school was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed to its current name.
