Hebei Public Security Police Vocational College was formerly the Hebei Provincial Public Security School, which was founded in 1978. In 1982, the school moved to the provincial capital Shijiazhuang; in 1991, the Hebei Provincial Public Security School was officially renamed the Hebei Provincial People's Police School; in 1998, the Hebei Provincial People's Police School and Hebei University of Science and Technology jointly established the Hebei University of Science and Technology People's Police College, and began to recruit college students in 1999; on April 28, 2003, with the approval of the provincial government, the Hebei Public Security Police Vocational College was officially established, and the development of Hebei public security education has thus reached a new level. Hebei Public Security Police Vocational College is affiliated to the Hebei Provincial Public Security Department. It is currently the only higher vocational college in the province. It is a public full-time teaching with a three-year school system. As the highest institution of public security education in Hebei and an important base for the training of public security talents in Hebei, Hebei Public Security Police Vocational College adheres to the socialist direction of running schools, adheres to the principle of "governing the police and schools according to law", adheres to the working idea of coordinated development of scale, quality and efficiency, adheres to a strict police management model, and has formed its own school-running style. In the 27 years since its establishment, under the care of the provincial government, the provincial public security department, the provincial education department and the leaders of relevant departments, the college has continued to develop and has trained a large number of outstanding professional talents for the public security and political and legal organs at all levels in our province. Many of its graduates have become leaders and business backbones of public security and political and legal departments at all levels, and have made outstanding contributions to the safety of the people. The college is located in the southwest higher education zone of Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital, with Minxin River to the west and Binhe Park to the north. It has a beautiful and clean environment and has been awarded the title of "garden-style" and "garden-style" unit by the provincial and municipal governments. The college currently covers an area of 275 acres (including the reserved land on the east side of the college) and a building area of 60,000 square meters. The college has complete teaching facilities, including photography, forensics, trace detection, physical evidence analysis, document inspection, physical and chemical inspection, shooting range, computer room, voice training room, multimedia classroom, electronic reading room and other learning and experimental places; it has a large number of teachers with public security teaching, practice and scientific research capabilities (there are 118 full-time and part-time teachers, including 46 associate professors and above, and 8 people have won the title of "excellent teacher" at the provincial and ministerial levels or above). The college follows the strategic idea that education should be "oriented to modernization, the world and the future", closely combines with the reality of Hebei, takes the requirements of the construction of the public security and political and legal teams in Hebei Province as the direction of school-running and training goals, implements the policy of "strictly governing the police and the school", and pays close attention to the four links of teaching, management, service and environment. It strictly educates, manages, disciplines and trains students, and strives to cultivate people's police and legal professionals with moral education first and comprehensive development for the construction of an economically strong province and a modern Hebei. Our graduates are welcomed by public security and judicial organs at all levels in the province and even public security, border defense, customs and other departments in other provinces and cities for their solid professional foundation, broad knowledge and strong adaptability.
