Hebei Engineering University College of Science and Technology is a full-time undergraduate independent college established in July 2001 with the approval of the Hebei Provincial People's Government, relying on the provincial backbone university, Hebei Engineering University. It was confirmed by the Ministry of Education in December 2003. In 2005, the college passed the "Special Inspection on the School Conditions and Teaching Status of Independent Colleges" of the Ministry of Education with excellent results, and obtained the right to confer bachelor's degrees in 2012. The college is located in Handan City, Hebei Province, a national historical and cultural city and the capital of Chinese idioms and allusions. The campus is adjacent to the main campus of Hebei Engineering University, covering an area of more than 600 acres, with advanced facilities, beautiful environment and excellent school conditions. Relying on the brand professional resources of Hebei Engineering University, the college has scientifically and reasonably set up 27 undergraduate majors such as architecture, civil engineering, water conservancy and hydropower engineering, electrical engineering and automation, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, etc. according to the needs of national and regional economic and social development. The college recruits and employs students nationwide, and currently has more than 10,000 full-time undergraduates. The college currently has 616 full-time teachers, including 312 teachers with senior professional titles, 70 doctors and 546 masters.
