Hefei City University (formerly the Urban Construction College of Anhui Jianzhu University) is a provincial full-time general undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education and authorized to award bachelor's degrees. It is located in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province. The school was founded in 2003 and was converted into an independent general undergraduate university in December 2020. The school has a planned area of nearly 1,000 acres, and the completed school building area is about 250,000 square meters. It currently has two campuses, Binhu and Beicheng, located respectively in the Hefei Huanglu Science and Education Park on the shores of the beautiful Chao Lake and on the banks of the Chu River Main Canal. Located in Beichenggang Market Town, Hefei, with beautiful campus environment and rich cultural atmosphere, it won the honorary title of "Hefei Civilized Unit". There are currently more than 12,000 full-time undergraduate students. There are more than 550 full-time teachers, of which more than 35% are teachers with associate senior professional titles or above.
