Heze Vocational College is a public full-time general college with a 60-year history of running schools. It is located in the beautiful city of peonies, Heze City, Shandong Province. It was formed by the merger of Heze Finance and Economics School, which was founded in 1963, Heze Industrial School, which was founded in 1985, and Heze Agricultural Machinery Workers Technical School, which was founded in 1972. It began to be planned in 2007 and was officially established in December 2012 with the approval of the Shandong Provincial People's Government and the filing of the Ministry of Education. Since its establishment, the school has always adhered to the original mission of educating people for the party and cultivating talents for the country, implemented the fundamental task of cultivating people with moral integrity, and took high-quality innovative development as the theme. With the leapfrog development of "coming from behind" as the orientation, it vigorously promoted the integration of production and education, school-enterprise cooperation, and insisted on taking the path of connotation development and characteristic development. It strives to build a high-level higher vocational college in the border area of Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan and Anhui that is rooted in Heze, meets international standards, has Chinese style, and forms a superior brand. It has cultivated a large number of high-tech skilled talents with both moral integrity and skills, and has made important contributions to the national and regional economic and social development. The school covers an area of 865 acres and has modern classrooms, training rooms, libraries, dormitories, smart restaurants, etc., with a total construction area of 400,000 square meters. It has more than 100,000 square meters of on-campus training bases such as the Artificial Intelligence Industry-University-Research Center, the High-end Equipment Training Center, the Cultural Tourism Preschool Education Training Center, and the Internet Celebrity Live Broadcast Base. The total value of teaching and scientific research equipment is 150 million yuan, and there are more than 10,000 practical teaching stations on campus. It has a smart campus network system with full wireless network coverage, full intelligent teaching venues, and full online life services, which has achieved full coverage of information applications such as administrative office, education and teaching, student management and fee collection, and logistics management. There are 766 faculty and staff, including 97 professors and associate professors, 346 masters and doctors, 308 "dual-qualified" teachers, and 58 national and provincial excellent teachers. We jointly built the Jiang Zhen Intelligent Manufacturing College with Hong Kong Zhenxiong Group, and jointly established 14 industrial colleges such as Zhongguancun Big Data Industry College and Huake Industrial Robot Industry College with Zhongguancun Software Park and other companies. Led by the municipal government, the Heze Industry-Education Integration University Science and Technology Park, which was jointly built by the Mudan District Government, the China Academy of Art, and Heze Vocational College, takes "intangible cultural heritage skills, science and technology, cultural and creative, and industrial incubation integration" as the main line, and fully implements the dual-engine drive of "cultural and creative + scientific and technological innovation". It has attracted more than 50 companies to settle in the park, and has initially formed a new trend of industry-education integration development. It has been rated as a provincial digital economy park (pilot) (digital industrialization direction) in 2023 and a Shandong boutique tourism research and study practice demonstration unit.
