Hubei Three Gorges Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time general higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Hubei Province, registered by the Ministry of Education, and sponsored by the People's Government of Yichang City. The school was established in July 2002, and its history can be traced back to the Yichang Special Administrative Finance and Economics School established in August 1949. The school is located in the central urban area of Yichang City, Hubei Province, the site of the world-famous Three Gorges Project and the world's famous hydropower tourism city. The campus is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful environment and beautiful scenery. It is an ideal place for studying and studying. The school covers an area of 1,369.7 acres and a construction area of 537,000 square meters. The school is currently accelerating the construction of a new campus, which is located in Dianjun District, Yichang City. The total planned construction land is 2,500 mu and the total construction area is 600,000 square meters. The first phase of the project (1,200 mu) started in November 2023 and is scheduled to be completed and put into use in 2025. The school library has a paper collection of 1.9609 million books and teaching equipment with a total value of 292 million yuan.
