Hulunbuir Vocational and Technical College is a public higher vocational college in Hulunbuir City approved by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is located in the central city of Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which is known as "China's Excellent Tourism City", "the Most Ecologically Competitive City" and "China's Top Ten Ice and Snow Tourism Cities". It covers an area of 604,200 square meters and has modern teaching facilities and a "garden-style" campus environment. There are 8,184 students and 723 faculty members, including 494 full-time teachers, 263 master's students, and 226 people with associate senior titles or above. The college has 12 teaching departments (departments) and 1 continuing education college. The college offers majors such as nursing, preschool education, Mongolian medicine, big data and accounting, computer application technology, mechatronics technology, tourism management, agricultural product processing and quality inspection, modern agricultural equipment application technology, intelligent livestock and poultry breeding, music performance, applied chemical technology, and engineering cost. Among them, there are 51 higher vocational majors, 26 five-year higher vocational (3+2) majors, and 45 secondary vocational majors. It has basically established one autonomous region-level high-level professional group-nursing, and four college-level high-level professional groups-mechanical and electrical, chemical, Sino-Mongolian medicine, and cultural tourism. The nursing major and Mongolian medicine major have been approved as national backbone majors, and the mechatronics technology major and rehabilitation therapy technology major have been approved as the first batch of characteristic majors in the autonomous region. The college adheres to the fundamental task of cultivating people with moral integrity, comprehensively deepens the reform of the talent training model of "three-dimensional education" and "five-education", and solidly builds an ideological and political work system of "party building leadership, multi-party governance, and six-core drive", and has been successfully selected as a pilot college for the construction of the "one-stop" student community comprehensive management model by the Ministry of Education. In recent years, the implementation rate of graduates' graduation destinations has always remained above 95%, and more than 2,000 high-quality technical and skilled talents have been delivered to the society each year. More than 24,000 social training and appraisal examinations are undertaken each year, and the ability to serve local economic and social development is increasing. School-enterprise cooperation and order training are the school's characteristics and development advantages. The college has become a talent training base for industrial parks such as Hulunbuir Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd., Hulunbuir Economic and Technological Development Zone, Manchuria Industrial Park, and China-Russia Mutual Trade Zone.
