Hunan Industrial Vocational and Technical College is a provincial public full-time general higher vocational college established in 1999 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is located at the foot of Yuelu Mountain, on the bank of Xiangjiang River, which is a place with beautiful scenery, long cultural heritage and a gathering of talents. The school is an old school that inherits the spirit of vocational education for a hundred years. Its predecessor was Hunan Industrial School, which was founded during the "First Five-Year Plan" period. Its history can be traced back to Chuyi Industrial School, which was founded by Hunan educator Mr. Chen Runlin in 1909. It is the highest vocational college with the most complete equipment manufacturing majors, the largest scale and the longest history in Hunan Province.
