Hunan Institute of Technology College of Applied Technology was established in 2002 with the approval of the Ministry of Education and is a full-time general undergraduate independent college run by Hunan Institute of Technology. The college is located in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, the hometown of the great man Mao Zedong. There are currently more than 4,800 students on campus.
