Hunan Normal University was founded in 1938 and is located in Changsha, a famous historical and cultural city. It is a key university of the national "211 Project", a national "Double First-Class" university, a key "Double First-Class" university jointly built by the Ministry of Education and Hunan Province, and an excellent university in the undergraduate teaching level assessment of ordinary colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education. The school covers an area of nearly 3,000 acres and has a building area of 1.33 million square meters. The main campus is nestled in Lushan Mountain to the west and Xiangjiang River to the east.
