Hunan Preschool Teachers College is a full-time public general college approved by the Provincial People's Government in 2013 and registered by the Ministry of Education. The school was upgraded by the merger of the former Changde Normal School and Taoyuan Normal School. The former Taoyuan Normal School was founded by the famous democratic revolutionary Song Jiaoren in 1912, and the former Changde Normal School was founded in 1947.
