Hunan Urban Construction Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1958. It is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is a model higher vocational college in Hunan Province, an excellent higher vocational college in Hunan Province, a construction unit of the Hunan Chuyi "Double High Plan", and a pilot college of the Hunan "Chuyi Craftsman Plan". It is known as the cradle of Hunan construction talents and the "Huangpu Military Academy" of the million-strong Hunan construction army.
