The east is magnificent, and the university is majestic. Jiamusi University is located in Jiamusi, the easternmost city of China and the most charming city in the country with the best ecological environment. Jiamusi was liberated in 1947. At that time, it was the capital of Hejiang Province (Zhang Wentian was the first secretary). It was the rear base of the War of Liberation and was known as the "Little Yan'an in the Northeast". It is now the central city of the northeastern region of Heilongjiang Province.
