Jiangnan Film and Television Arts Vocational College was founded in 1993 by 8 vocational education workers including Comrade Lu Guozhong. In 2002, it was led by Yang Weiguang, then Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Radio, Film and Television and Director of CCTV, and Zhou Shunsheng, Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Radio, Film and Television Department.
