Jiangsu Vocational College of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Science and Technology was founded in September 1958 and is affiliated to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Jiangsu Province. The school is a college of higher learning that focuses on cultivating technical and skilled talents in agricultural and animal husbandry technology. In June 2001, it was independently upgraded to "Jiangsu Vocational and Technical College of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine"; in March 2013, it was renamed "Jiangsu Vocational College of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Science and Technology".
