Jiangsu Vocational College of Electronic Information is a full-time college sponsored by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and supervised by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. The school was founded in 1978 and renamed Jiangsu Vocational College of Electronic Information in 2020. It is an "excellent" college in the first round of talent training level assessment of higher vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education, one of the first ten exemplary higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province, and a high-level higher vocational college with Chinese characteristics in Jiangsu Province. The school has won the first place in the comprehensive assessment of Jiangsu Province for three consecutive years, won the title of civilized unit of Jiangsu Province for four consecutive years, and won the title of excellent college for high-quality leapfrog development in Huai'an City for two consecutive years. The school focuses on the electronic information industry and serves the development of Jiangsu's digital economy. It has been rated as the "Advanced Collective for Employment of College Graduates in Jiangsu Province" for eight consecutive times, and has been rated as an A-level university in the quantitative assessment of employment of college graduates in the province for three consecutive years.
