Jiangxi Institute of Fashion is a full-time general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a professional college with clothing education as its feature, facing the fashion industry, and focusing on cultivating senior professionals in creative design, engineering technology, marketing and management. The school is located in the southern suburbs of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. The thousand-acre campus is shaded by trees and the humanistic landscape complements each other. The school building, which covers nearly 500,000 square meters, is European-style, majestic, well-arranged and fully functional. The Nishang Palace, Art Museum, and China Costume Museum carry a heavy cultural heritage. Outside the school, the Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology has jointly established the Clothing Research Institute with the Shishi Municipal Government of Fujian Province and the Gongqingcheng Municipal Government of Jiangxi Province. The museum has a collection of more than 10,000 pieces (sets) of traditional costumes, ethnic minority costumes, and classic works of contemporary famous designers. It has been rated as an excellent social science popularization and publicity base in Jiangxi Province, a national social science popularization education base, and a national characteristic project of the Ministry of Education's "Etiquette and Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture". In particular, at the China International College Student Fashion Week, our students have won the "Newcomer Award" for Chinese Fashion Design for nine consecutive years, of which six years ranked first in the "Newcomer Award" and three years ranked second.
