Jinken Vocational and Technical College was founded in 2000. It is a full-time general college approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It has the qualification to independently issue diplomas. It is a provincial-level demonstration higher vocational college cultivation and construction unit in Jiangsu Province. It is a national vocational skills appraisal unit, a national light industry unique occupation vocational skills training base, a high-skilled talent training base in Nanjing, and the first batch of national defense education demonstration schools in Jiangsu Province. The school is located in Nanjing, an important central city in eastern China, an important scientific research and education center in the country, the first batch of national historical and cultural cities, and the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. It is located in Nanjing Airport Hub Economic Zone, close to Nanjing Lukou International Airport and Metro Line S9 "Tongshan Station". One of the national planning textbooks for vocational education in the "14th Five-Year Plan", two provincial-level high-quality textbooks, and three provincial-level key textbooks have been selected; 5 provincial-level online courses have been built.
