Kaifeng University is located in Kaifeng, a famous historical and cultural city in China and the ancient capital of eight dynasties. It was founded in 1980. It is a full-time general college with six major disciplines of engineering, management, literature, economics, medicine and art, approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is sponsored by the Kaifeng Municipal People's Government.
