Kunming University of Science and Technology Jinqiao College is located in the historical and cultural city of Kunming. Founded in 2001, the school is a full-time undergraduate independent college with engineering as the main discipline and coordinated development of multiple disciplines including economics, management, literature, law, science and education. The school currently has two campuses, Gaoxin and Airport, covering an area of 922 acres. The main campus is the Airport Campus, located in the Kunming Airport Economic Zone. Over the past 20 years since its establishment, the school has adhered to the socialist direction of running schools, fully implemented the party's education policy, and fully implemented the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people. The school has the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, the School of Civil Engineering, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Language and Culture, the School of Law, the School of Science and Technology, the School of Marxism, and the Department of Physical Education. Currently, there are 770 faculty and staff, including 287 "dual-qualified" teachers, 44.89% of full-time teachers have senior professional and technical titles, and 83.7% of full-time teachers have a master's degree or above. There are 1 Yunling Teaching Master, 2 Yunnan Provincial Teaching Masters, 2 Outstanding Young Teachers of Yunnan Higher Education Institutions, 1 Teacher Who Won the Yunnan Youth May Fourth Medal, and 1 Yunnan Huang Danian-style Teacher Team , 1 Kunming Employee Innovation Studio, and 1 Yunnan Virtual Teaching and Research Office Cultivation Project, which provide talent support and intellectual guarantee for the development of the school. The school insists on strengthening students' innovation and entrepreneurship education, and the level of subject competitions continues to improve. The school has been awarded the "First Prize in the Yunnan Province College Graduate Employment and Entrepreneurship Target Responsibility Assessment" for seven consecutive years.
