Liaoning Normal College for Nationalities was established in 2012. It is a full-time college affiliated with the Provincial Department of Education and registered with the Ministry of Education to implement higher vocational education. There are currently two campuses in Shenyang and Fuxin, located at No. 45 Chongshan East Road, Huanggu District, Shenyang City and No. 40 Yuhong Road, Fuxin Development Zone. The school currently has 205 faculty members and 169 full-time teachers, including 87 associate senior or above, 96 teachers with a master's degree or above, and 122 teachers with dual qualifications. There are 3 provincial-level famous teaching teachers, 3 professional leaders, 2 key teachers, and 1 provincial-level outstanding teacher. The school currently has 3,543 full-time vocational college students, offering four teacher training majors: preschool education, primary education, primary education (five-year system), primary school Chinese education, as well as Chinese minority language and culture, applied Korean, ethnic performing arts, and tourism. There are 8 non-normal majors in management, big data and accounting, e-commerce, computer application technology, and modern secretarial. Among them, the primary school and preschool education professional group formed by preschool education, primary school education and other majors was rated as the provincial "Xingliao Excellent" higher vocational professional group. The quality of normal students recruited by the school has improved year by year. In the past five years, it has trained 5,927 graduates, of whom 943 have been admitted to undergraduate universities. The school has always adhered to the development strategy of "based on Liaoning and serving the regional economy", with the teacher major as the main brand major. The Department of Education has established school-enterprise cooperation with kindergartens, preschool education training institutions, early childhood education centers, primary school education and training institutions and other employers in Liaoning Province. Thanks to the cooperative relationship, 4,987 students have been employed in Liaoning in the past five years, with the average employment rate in Liaoning reaching 87.94% and reaching 92.43% in 2022. The employment rate in Liaoning has increased year by year. The school is oriented to serve the comprehensive revitalization and all-round revitalization of Liaoning, promote the coordinated development of scientific research and regional industries, and establish a linkage mechanism between scientific research and social services. In the past five years, the school has established 28 provincial-level scientific research projects and 23 municipal-level scientific research projects, and 6 research results have been adopted by the municipal party committee’s internal journals; it has been approved for 9 patents, served 5 horizontal projects for enterprises, and signed 4 technical service contracts.
