Loudi Preschool Teachers College was upgraded from the former Loudi Preschool Teachers School. Its predecessor was Xinhua Normal School founded in 1952. The new campus is located in Lengshuijiang City, the world's antimony capital, with Changzhi Expressway and Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway running east and west, and convenient transportation. The school covers an area of more than 340 acres and a building area of more than 105,000 square meters. The campus environment is beautiful, the cultural heritage is profound, and the facilities and equipment are complete. The school is "Hunan Province's College-level Primary and Kindergarten Teacher Training Base", "Loudi City Primary and Kindergarten Teacher Training Base", "Ministry of Education Youth Legal Education Collaborative Innovation Center (East China Normal University) Research Base", "National May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee Creation Unit", "Hunan Province Campus Literature and Art Federation Council Unit". At present, the school continues to offer five-year junior high school preschool education and primary education majors, and trains college-level rural primary and kindergarten teachers. At the same time, two new majors, three-year high school preschool education and three-year high school art education, will be added. In the next three years, advertising printing, music education, early education, dance education, art design, infant and toddler childcare services and management, digital media art design, broadcasting and hosting, etc. will be opened. And cooperate with Hunan Normal University, Hunan First Normal University, East China Normal University and other institutions to carry out continuing education for undergraduates.
