Luzhou Medical Device Vocational College is the only full-time higher vocational college in the country that trains medical device professionals, approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, filed with the Ministry of Education, and invested and held by the state-owned Southwest Medical Health Industry Investment Group Co., Ltd. The school is located in the core area of Western China's Craftsman City, with a campus area of 530 acres, a school building area of 220,000 square meters, and a total investment of about 1 billion yuan. The campus has reasonable functional zoning, convenient transportation, beautiful environment, complete teaching and living facilities, various experimental instruments and equipment, and more than 500,000 paper books and electronic books in the library. The school is the first unit in Luzhou to co-build and share an industrial college with Suzhou Industrial Park, which has won eight consecutive championships in the comprehensive evaluation of the national economic development zone; it is the "Western China Craftsman City·Medical Craftsman Training Base" awarded by the Luzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government; it is a guiding teaching cooperation unit of Southwest Medical University, and participates in the creation of a "Regional Medical and Health Center".
