1. Conceptual introduction of our school Northwest University Modern College is an independent college engaged in unified undergraduate education, which was applied for by Northwest University and approved by the Ministry of Education. Modern College inherits the glorious tradition of a century-old prestigious school, develops education and runs schools with innovative models, adapts to the development direction of China's higher education, and is the preferred university for new youth in the new era. 2. External environment of our school Our school is located in the southern suburbs of Xi'an, a famous ancient city in China. It overlooks Zhongnan (Qinling Mountains) from afar and is close to Fengshui. It has always been a place of outstanding people and beautiful scenery in history. "Caotang Smoke", one of the famous eight scenic spots in Guanzhong, is within easy reach. The prototype of the idiom story "Zhongnan Shortcut" took place in the inner mountains of Qinling Mountains to the south of the campus. According to research by experts in Chinese cultural history, the mainstream of Chinese culture originated in the Western Zhou Dynasty, and the source of Western Zhou culture came from Fengshui, which is the famous "Fenghao Culture". The ancient city of Xi'an was once the capital of thirteen dynasties, and each dynasty designated the area where the school is located as the royal inner garden. There is still a place called "Neiyuan Village" near our school. In modern times, especially since the reform and opening up, people have praised this place as the "back garden" of the ancient city and the "green lung" of Xi'an. It has now been planned by Xi'an as a humanistic tourism science and education zone, focusing on the development of scientific research and education. In recent years, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Petroleum University, and University of Architecture and Technology have successively established schools here. According to environmental experts' monitoring, the air cleanliness and oxygen content here belong to the most suitable range for human habitation. The groundwater here comes from the Qinling Mountains, rich in beneficial trace elements, and the water quality is excellent. Studying here for four years is the best choice for young students who are in a critical stage of physical development and use their brains extremely because of learning. 3. Campus construction of our school The campus of our school is divided into two areas, north and south. The south area is the teaching area, which consists of Shaoguang Gate, large teaching buildings (liberal arts, economics and management, art, media), and a large library. Its building complex is in European classical style. The South Gate (Shaoguang Gate) is one of the most majestic and classic school gates in my country's universities, and it is also one of the few university main gates facing Nankai in this area. After entering the gate, there are two main roads to the east and west, named Eastern Avenue and Western Avenue, and then there are secondary roads to the outside, named Southeast Avenue and Southwest Avenue. The four teaching buildings are located in the east and west wings of the park formed at the south end of these four main roads. Each teaching building consists of a five-story main building and two two-story podium buildings on both sides. The teaching building is spacious and bright, with sufficient seats. The number of seats per student in the multimedia teaching facilities far exceeds the national standard. The library is located between the southern ends of the east and west avenues and is a super-large building. The main entrance of the library opens to the south, with wide steps leading up, and six giant Roman columns standing in the corridor. There is a large patio in the center of the building, and sunlight shines into the hall through the glass curtain. The bookstores are divided into two sides, including natural sciences, social sciences, finance and finance, literature and art, newspapers and magazines, etc. There is also a rare special bookstore in colleges and universities-the National Studies Library, which has a rich collection of books on national studies, Confucianism, and Guanxue for graduate students and related scholars to read. The library has a huge collection of one million books, which exceeds the national standard. On the north side of the library is a rare waterscape in the region's colleges and universities - Zhongnan Lake formed by natural springs. There are lotuses and reeds on the lake, rippling the lake water, and pine and willow trees on the island in the middle of the lake. The outer side of the north section of the East and West Avenues of our school campus is the East and West Apartment District, which has twelve high-standard large apartment buildings. The dormitories are spacious and high-end four-person rooms, with beds and desks, single tables and double wardrobes for each person, coffee tables and sofas, air conditioning and water heating, toilets and washbasins. The naming of our school's roads is unique: the north-south direction is the road, the east-west direction is the road, and the road has been mentioned above. The roads around the teaching building are named according to the four seasons, including Chunfeng Road, Xiayang Road, Qiushui Road, and Dongxue Road. The campus of our school has a unique landscape. There is a rooftop for various activities on the cultural square in front of the library. There are eight bells in the south of the rooftop to warn students about their studies, careers and lives. All of this makes the cultural heritage of our school profound and heavy. The classic and atmospheric architecture and the beautiful and lively campus provide students with a first-class learning and living environment. IV. Organization and management of our school Our school has established a standardized corporate governance structure in accordance with relevant national policies. As the applicant, Northwest University has established a branch party committee in our school, sent the party committee secretary to be responsible for party affairs, political stability and ideological education, sent directors to participate in the school's decision-making, and sent the vice president of teaching to be responsible for the school's teaching, enrollment and employment.
