Nanjing Vocational College of Visual Arts was founded in 2000. It is a private general college approved by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. The college is located in the Airport New City, Lishui District, Nanjing, covering an area of 800 acres. The campus is surrounded by mountains and rivers and has a beautiful environment. The college currently has five teaching units: the Department of Media, the Department of Design, the Department of Humanities and Arts, the Department of Music, and the International College. It has set up 21 professional directions such as film and television media, art design, music and dance, and service management to meet the needs of social development in the new era. It has built digital studios, concert halls, golf driving ranges, Zhouning Photography Museum, NIVA Art Museum and other educational and teaching facilities.
