Ningxia Health Vocational and Technical College is a public college of general health-related higher vocational colleges approved by the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and filed with the Ministry of Education in 2023. It is jointly sponsored by the Education Department of the Autonomous Region, the Health Commission, and the People's Government of Shizuishan City, and is under the jurisdiction of the People's Government of Shizuishan City. It is a key college for the planning and construction of colleges and universities in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The college is located to the north of Xingguang Avenue, east of Xueyuan Road, and west of Longhu Avenue in Dawukou District, Shizuishan City, with a planned area of 1,004 acres. The planned school scale is 10,000 people, with a construction area of 260,000 square meters and a budget investment of 1.2 billion yuan. The overall project is planned in one go and constructed in four phases. The construction of the first phase of the project will be completed in 2023, which can meet the teaching, training and living needs of 3,000 higher vocational students. The college has five majors: nursing, pharmacy, midwifery, rehabilitation therapy technology, and traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation technology. In the later development process, nursing, pharmacy, stomatology, public health and other professional groups are reasonably set up, and in accordance with the requirements of "secondary vocational education-higher vocational education-undergraduate education", the connection between vocational education and undergraduate education is expanded. Relying on the high-quality teaching resources of Ningxia Medical University, Ningxia Health Vocational and Technical College deepens the integration of medicine and education, strengthens exchanges and cooperation, and improves the level of management and education.
