The Chinese People's Liberation Army Aviation Academy is a deputy army-level academy under the General Staff. It is the youngest military academy in the entire army. The main task of the academy is to train helicopter flight officers for the Army and Air Force and maintenance officers for Army aviation engineering. It also undertakes the training of mid-level command officers and maintenance cadets for Army aviation. It is a multidisciplinary, multi-level comprehensive academy that trains military and politics, command and technology, air and ground crew, and officers and soldiers at the same school.
