The Nanjing Army Command College of the Chinese People's Liberation Army is an intermediate command college directly under the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army. It is responsible for the intermediate training of command officers and postgraduate training for the entire army. The Nanjing Army Command College is located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, on the north bank of the Yangtze River in the scenic Pukou District of Nanjing. The college has convenient transportation and is adjacent to the national-level Nanjing High-tech Development Zone. The college has charming scenery and beautiful environment. It is a garden-style camp. It has a unique humanistic, geographical and developed economic environment, and is an ideal place for students to study and live. The college is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, covering an area of 1.6 million square meters. The teaching facilities, sports venues, cultural and entertainment centers and life service facilities in the campus are reasonably laid out and fully equipped. There are also tactical training grounds, field training and comprehensive training grounds outside the college. The professional teaching building integrates tactical training simulation system, contract tactical training room, foreign military research training room, combat command training room, people's armed command training room, speech laboratory, graduate training room, audio-visual teaching center, indoor simulated field command post, and is equipped with modern facilities such as field tactical training points, comprehensive tactical training grounds, and teaching management centers, providing a good environment for teaching and scientific research. The "Journal of Command Science" sponsored by the college is distributed to the entire army. The library has advanced equipment and a collection of more than 300,000 books. Since 1979, more than 20 national and military-level scientific research planning projects have been completed; more than 50 general textbooks for the entire army have been compiled; more than 80 books have been published; more than 6,000 academic papers have been published, and more than 150 of them have won awards at international, national and military academic conferences. Many teaching and scientific research achievements have won national awards, among which the "Tactical Training Simulation System for Commanders of Synthetic Forces" won the first prize of the Army Science and Technology Progress Award and the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
