Puyang Medical College is located in Puyang City, Henan Province, which is known as the "Dragon Capital of China" and the "Imperial Capital of China". It was founded in 1951 and has undergone the transformation from secondary technical school to college education. In May 2017, college-level education was launched. The school covers nearly 1,000 acres of land and is built in two phases. The total construction area is 197,000 square meters. It is planned to increase the second phase construction by 100,000 square meters to reach the scale of "1,000 acres of campus, 10,000 students". There are 750 full-time teachers and 448 of them have intermediate and senior professional titles. There are 25 majors including clinical medicine, nursing, midwifery, traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation, and medical technology, including 4 majors in traditional Chinese medicine. The second affiliated hospital (Puyang Third People's Hospital) is a Class III specialized hospital.
