Qinzhou Preschool Teachers College was built on the site of the former Qinzhou College by the Qinzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to integrate Qinzhou's teacher education resources. It is the only public normal school in the coastal area of the Beibu Gulf in Guangxi. There are two campuses and one park (Qinzhou Campus, Hepu Campus, and Affiliated Kindergarten), covering an area of about 500 acres (Hepu Campus is about 150 acres). The campus has both the historical charm of the old school and the modern atmosphere of the new school. In July 2018, the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided to start the application for the establishment of the school. In October 2019, it successfully applied to be included in the autonomous region's "13th Five-Year Plan" college construction plan; in January 2020, the school passed the evaluation and acceptance of the expert group of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region College Establishment Evaluation Committee; in April 2020, the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region approved the establishment of Qinzhou Preschool Teachers College, and in May it was registered with the Ministry of Education of China; on May 29, 2020, the Qinzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government held a grand unveiling ceremony for Qinzhou Preschool Teachers College; in September 2020, it officially enrolled students. The school currently has five secondary colleges, including the College of Preschool Education, the College of Early Childhood Development, the College of Sports and Arts, the College of Humanities and Management, and the College of Continuing Education. It offers 12 majors, including preschool education, early education, infant care services and management. There are 8,053 students in the fall semester this year. The school has long been committed to training kindergarten teachers, teachers of scarce subjects in primary and secondary schools, and technical and skilled talents that are urgently needed for the economic and social development of the Beibu Gulf region. The school has complete teaching functions, first-class hardware facilities, and advanced teaching equipment. There are 224 on-campus training rooms and 43 off-campus internship bases. The asset value of teaching and scientific research equipment is 55.5565 million yuan. The library has rich book resources. The school library has nearly 500,000 paper books of various types, 100,000 electronic books, 257 Chinese paper journals, and 9 Chinese electronic journal databases on China Knowledge Network. At the beginning of the school, the municipal party committee and government formed the teaching team of Qinzhou Preschool Teachers College with a high starting point and high standards. Excellent teachers are selected from municipal schools, excellent professional talents are deployed from relevant departments of the city, and excellent teachers and excellent postgraduates with a master's degree or above are introduced from universities across the country. After three years of cultivation and construction, there are currently 376 faculty and staff, including 270 full-time teachers (including counselors), 56 people with deputy senior professional and technical positions or above, 118 postgraduate teachers with a master's degree or above, and 43.7% of postgraduate teachers with a master's degree. There are 46 "double-qualified" teachers, and a high-quality and professional "double-qualified" teacher team with both moral integrity and ability, excellent quality and reasonable structure has been initially established. In the three years since the school was established, the school has achieved fruitful results in all aspects of its work. Teachers have won more than 100 national and provincial awards in various teaching competitions, and 14 teachers have won the third prize or above in the teaching ability competition of the provincial vocational college skills competition. Teachers have guided students to participate in various skill competitions at all levels and won more than 60 provincial awards or above. 53 topics have been approved at the autonomous region level, 2 teaching reform projects have been approved as key projects by the autonomous region, and 2 textbooks have passed the first batch of "14th Five-Year Plan" autonomous region vocational education planning textbook review. Four majors have been approved for construction of demonstration specialty majors and training bases in the autonomous region. In addition, we will comprehensively promote social service work and accelerate the transformation of results, technology transfer and scientific research innovation. We have successfully completed the training work of the Qinzhou City Coordinated Teacher Training Project of the Guangxi "National Training Program" and the Qinzhou City Kindergarten New Teacher Training Project. Build an affiliated kindergarten, open the school in February 2022, and provide 360 preschool education degrees to the society; launch the Tongyue Preschool Education Group franchise project to create a high-quality kindergarten with its own brand. At present, the number of franchised kindergartens in the Tongyue Preschool Education Group has reached 5. The school has been successively rated as "National '1+X Certificate' Pilot College", "The Third Batch of National Go Teacher Training Pilot Units", "Qinzhou City Preschool Education Talent Highland", and "Qinzhou City Art Education Talent Highland".
