Founded in August 2019, Qujing Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public general higher vocational college. The college is based on "based in Qujing, serving the local area, facing the whole country, radiating South Asia and Southeast Asia" as its school orientation, adhering to the school motto of "home country, the world, Hongyi loyalty", adhering to the school spirit of "moral education, superb skills", educating people for the party and cultivating talents for the country, and striving to create a comprehensive higher vocational and technical college with industry-education integration, distinctive characteristics, leading in the province, and well-known nationwide. The college has now developed a school-running pattern of coordinated development of 27 majors in 7 professional groups, including modern agriculture, equipment manufacturing, green energy, health and wellness, finance and trade, preschool education, and information technology. The college covers an area of 476.49 acres, with more than 10,000 students and 314 faculty and staff, of which 30.8% are master's students and doctoral students. It has 33 provincial and municipal projects, more than 20 textbooks, and more than 40 utility model patents.
