The School of Economics and Management of Hebei University of Economics and Business was established in July 2001. It is an independent college approved by the People's Government of Hebei Province and confirmed by the Ministry of Education. It is a full-time general undergraduate college run by Hebei University of Economics and Business in accordance with the new mechanism and new model. The college is located in the Southwest Higher Education Zone of Shijiazhuang City. It has a superior geographical location, convenient transportation, a good humanistic environment and teaching atmosphere, and is an ideal place for college students to study. The college has complete educational and teaching facilities, including 2 libraries with more than 913,000 books, 648 seats in the digital voice laboratory, 9,435 seats in the multimedia classroom, 35 practical laboratories such as computer rooms, synchronous operation simulation securities markets, ERP experimental centers, and multi-functional academic lecture halls. The college currently has 6 teaching departments, including the Department of Economics, the Department of Management, the Department of Information, the Department of Liberal Arts, the Department of Accounting, and the Department of Business, and 28 undergraduate majors, covering six major disciplines of economics, management, law, literature, engineering and science.
