Shaanxi National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1958. It is a full-time general college organized by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. It is also a college for the construction of 44 national defense science and technology industry supporting projects during the "First Five-Year Plan" period. The college has successively been affiliated with the Third and Fifth Ministry of Machinery Industry of China, the Ministry of Ordnance Industry of China, and China Ordnance Industry Corporation. It is a key support college of the State Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. In 1999, the college was transferred to the management of Shaanxi Province, and in 2001 it was upgraded to a full-time general higher vocational college. It is a "provincial and ministerial co-construction" college of China Ordnance Industry Group, the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and Shaanxi Province, the leading unit of Shaanxi National Defense Industry Vocational Education Group, and the vice chairman unit of China Aerospace Science and Technology Education Alliance. The College of Infrastructure is located in Huyi District, Xi'an City. The school is one of the first pilot units for the construction of digital campuses in vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education, and has achieved full coverage of campus wireless networks. The Shaanxi National Defense Industry Vocational Education Group, which was established under the leadership of the School-Enterprise Cooperation College, was selected as one of the first batch of national exemplary vocational education groups. It has carried out all-round and in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with more than 100 military enterprises and institutions inside and outside the province, and explored a new model of talent training with extensive influence in the country. It has built the "Industrial Robot Professional Talent Training Center" and "Ministry of Education-ZTE ICT Industry Innovation Base" of the Ministry of Education, the "Specialized and New Industry College" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the "China-France Schneider Electric Green Low-carbon Industry-Education Integration Project" of the Ministry of Education. The Campus Culture College was born in national defense, grew up in national defense, and serves national defense.
