Shandong Pharmaceutical and Food Vocational College was founded in 1958 and is affiliated to the Shandong Provincial Market Supervision Administration. It is a full-time public general college at the junior college level. It is a famous school with characteristics of cultivating skilled talents in Shandong Province and a provincial high-quality higher vocational college. After more than 60 years of development, the college has closely focused on the industrial chain of “pharmaceuticals, food, medical devices, health foods, cosmetics and healthy elderly care”, focusing on the talent needs of the medical and health industry, and has set up 8 colleges and departments including the Department of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering, Department of Quality Management, Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Department of Medical Devices, Department of Food, Department of Health Management and Department of Digital Information. Among them, there are 4 national backbone majors, 2 majors supported by the central government, 4 provincial specialty majors, 9 provincial skill-based specialty schools, 3 provincial high-level professional groups, 3 provincial brand professional groups, and 2 provincial modern apprenticeship pilot majors. Teachers and students have successively made major breakthroughs in the national vocational college teaching ability competition, skills competition, “Challenge Cup”, “Internet +” and other events.
