The predecessor of Shandong Tourism Vocational College was Shandong Tourism School. It was jointly invested and built by the National Tourism Administration and the Provincial People's Government in 1988, and officially enrolled students in 1991. In 2004, it was upgraded to a full-time general college at the junior college level, and implemented a management system with the dual leadership of the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism as the main body. The school is located in Zhangqiu University Town, Jinan City. It is a national AAA-level tourist attraction with a superior location and convenient transportation. The school has excellent comprehensive school conditions and complete infrastructure.
