Shangrao Preschool Teachers College is located in Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, which is known as the "crossroads of all directions" and the "first gateway to Yuzhang". It is a public full-time general college approved by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and registered by the Ministry of Education of China. The school has a long history of running schools. So far, it has a history of 85 years. It can be traced back to the Shangrao Teacher Training School founded by Mr. Yan Zongfu in 1939. In 2001, it began to recruit "3+2" students with college education. In 2005, it was affiliated with Shangrao Normal School and established the Normal Branch of Primary Education of Shangrao Normal College. In 2007, the school became the only institution in Shangrao City that trains rural teachers. On February 6, 2017, with the approval of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, Shangrao Preschool Teachers College was established on the basis of Shangrao Normal School (Normal Branch of Primary Education of Shangrao Normal College) and Jiangxi Wannian Normal School. After more than 80 years of development, the school has formed the school motto of "educating children to cultivate morality and teaching them to be role models for the world", and has trained a large number of excellent teachers for the country. The party building of the school leads the inheritance. The school currently has 7 party general branches, 15 party branches, 221 party member teachers, and 47 student party members. Preschool education, primary education, primary English education and primary science education are included in the scope of teacher qualification exemption certification of the Ministry of Education. The school has become a pilot institution and assessment site for the 1+X "Child Care" vocational skill level certificate system, and the leading institution of the Jiangxi Province 1+X Certificate Alliance.
