Shanxi Huaao Vocational College of Commerce and Trade is a full-time higher vocational college approved by the Shanxi Provincial Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is also one of the first batch of sunshine overseas education pilot units in the country. The college was founded by a group of overseas returned scholars. It has 242 Chinese and foreign dual-qualified teachers, 71 of whom are associate professors or above. Many experts and professors have studied or worked in foreign universities such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand. Among them, Curtin University of Technology, Murdoch University, James Cook University, Newcastle University, Maryville University in the United States, Birmingham City University in the United Kingdom, Woosong University in South Korea, Boren University in Thailand, Auckland International College in New Zealand, Athlone Institute of Technology in Ireland and other famous universities have signed friendly cooperation agreements with Huaao College, mutual recognition of credits, joint construction of majors, mutual dispatch of teachers, and resource sharing. So far, nearly 2,000 students of the college have successfully entered internationally renowned universities for further studies through the "2+2" international junior college to undergraduate and master's degree model. After graduation, their academic qualifications have been certified by the Ministry of Education and they have grown into international business talents.
