Shijiazhuang Information Engineering Vocational College is adjacent to the Zhengding area of the China (Hebei) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Hutuo River Ecological Zone. It is a full-time higher vocational college organized by the Shijiazhuang Municipal People's Government. The history of the college can be traced back to the Commercial Vocational School of the Shijiazhuang Commissioner's Office of Hebei Province in 1963. After several developments and changes, in 1999, the First Commercial School, the Second Commercial School and the Finance and Trade Cadre School of the City were merged into the Shijiazhuang Finance and Economics School. In 2002, the Shijiazhuang Finance and Economics School was upgraded to Shijiazhuang Information Engineering Vocational College. The college covers an area of more than 1,930 acres and a building area of 480,000 square meters. It has 9 departments, 4 divisions and 1 college. There are 43 majors for social enrollment, more than 20,000 full-time students, more than 60% of full-time teachers have master's and doctoral degrees, and 40% of teachers have senior professional titles. In order to continuously improve the conditions for running schools, the college has now started the construction of the second phase of the new campus project. The college is now a provincial high-level school and a high-level professional group project construction unit; a national female college student entrepreneurship practice base; one of the top ten innovative brand colleges in logistics teaching in the country; a talent training base for modern logistics professionals in Hebei, a provincial designated institution for vocational skills training; a provincial advanced grassroots party organization, a provincial advanced unit of ideological and political work, and a municipal party building demonstration university. The college focuses on the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people, effectively constructs a system of cultivating morality and skills, and strives to improve the quality of talent training.
