Shijiazhuang Preschool Teachers College is the first state-run preschool teacher college in Hebei Province approved by the Ministry of Education in 2011. It is a cultivation unit of "provincial high-level vocational schools" in Hebei Province, a pilot unit for deepening the reform of education evaluation in the new era in Hebei Province, the vice chairman unit of the National Childcare Industry-Education Integration Community, the chairman unit of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Preschool Education Alliance, the executive vice chairman unit of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Childcare Integration Industry-Education Integration Community, and the chairman unit of the Hebei Childcare Vocational Education Group. The school is located in the western higher education zone of the provincial capital, covering an area of 500.73 acres, with a building area of 180,200 square meters, more than 7,600 full-time students, 456 faculty and staff, 21 professors, 98 associate professors, and 296 doctors and masters. From 2019 to 2023, it ranked first among the national higher vocational colleges in the "College Satisfaction" survey on the designated platform of the Ministry of Education for five consecutive years. It has a long history of running schools and a deep red gene. The predecessor of the school was Shijiazhuang Municipal Normal School, which was established in 1948 and later renamed Shijiazhuang Normal School. In May 1984, the People's Government of Hebei Province approved the establishment of "Hebei Shijiazhuang Preschool Normal School" with the school building of Yuhong School, which was the first state-run full-time secondary preschool normal school in Hebei Province. In 1999, Shijiazhuang Normal School was renamed "Hebei Shijiazhuang Foreign Language Normal School". In 2006, the two schools merged to form the new Hebei Shijiazhuang Preschool Normal School. With the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to Shijiazhuang Preschool Normal College in 2011. The school has trained nearly 100,000 outstanding talents in preschool education and primary education for the country, especially in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The school has a clear positioning and distinctive characteristics. Based in Shijiazhuang, the school focuses on serving Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. For more than 70 years, it has adhered to normal education and deeply cultivated preschool education, and has developed into the vanguard of preschool education in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the leader of the reform and development of preschool education in Hebei Province. The school has 6 departments and 2 divisions (Department of Preschool Education, Department of Language and Literature, Department of Music, Department of Fine Arts, Department of Applied Technology, Department of Continuing Education, Department of Basic Teaching, Department of Marxist Teaching), and offers 17 majors. We strive to build four major professional groups: preschool education, primary education, art education, and applied technology. The preschool education major is a national backbone major, and the preschool education major group is a provincial high-level professional group. There are more than 1,000 preschool education internship kindergartens and early childhood education institutions throughout Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. There are two provincial-level teacher teaching innovation teams for preschool education and primary school Chinese education; the primary school Chinese education teaching team takes the lead in developing the teaching standards for the primary school Chinese education major of the Ministry of Education; the primary school Chinese education major has established the Hebei Vocational Education "Dual Teacher" Master Studio and the first batch of "Hebei Province College Huang Danian-style Teacher Team".
