Shizuishan Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Trade (Ningxia Industrial School) is a vocational college that integrates secondary and higher vocational education. It is a national high-skilled talent training base and a high-skilled talent training base in Ningxia. The college is located on the beautiful shore of Xinghai Lake, covering an area of 1,100 acres and a building area of 260,000 square meters. The college currently has 374 faculty and staff, and "dual-qualified" teachers account for 66% of full-time teachers. There is currently one national-level skill master studio, one teaching innovation team for vocational education teachers in the autonomous region, and one Huang Danian-style teacher team in colleges and universities in the region. Since its establishment, the college has trained more than 150,000 technical and skilled talents of various types, making important contributions to local economic and social development. Every year, more than 6,000 people are trained in short-term and medium-term employment and entrepreneurship training and skill level appraisal, covering 24 majors and 23 professional level certificates, meeting the needs of enterprises and various technical talents for skill improvement and re-education. The college adheres to the collaborative development concept of "deep integration and win-win on both sides", explores the "production, learning, research, training, competition, and creation" six-in-one education mechanism and the "government, industry, school, and enterprise" collaborative development and cooperation model, and actively serves the development of the "six new, six special, and six excellent" industries in the region around the construction of the Yellow River Basin Ecological Protection and High-quality Development Pilot Zone. Go deep into enterprises, serve enterprises, implement order training for students, and formulate talent training plans according to the needs of enterprises "one enterprise, one case" to ensure the pertinence and adaptability of talent training. Carry out in-depth cooperation with more than 20 leading enterprises such as Tiandi Benniu, Schaeffler, and Ningxia Runyang, and jointly build 2 autonomous region-level modern industrial colleges with enterprises, and establish off-campus internship and training bases in 79 enterprises. The college has been identified as a pilot school for "Internet + Education" and the first batch of national "1+X" certificate system pilot schools.
