Sichuan Business Vocational College is a public full-time general college approved by the Provincial People's Government and directly under the Provincial Department of Commerce. The college currently has two campuses in Qingyang and Wenjiang, with a total building area of 146,600 square meters, 557 faculty and staff, 11,047 full-time students and 45 international students. Vocational education has a long history. Sichuan Business Vocational College was formerly the Sichuan Provincial Women's Sericulture Training Institute founded in 1907. In 2004, it was upgraded to a provincial public higher vocational college by Sichuan Business School (a national key secondary technical school) and Sichuan Foreign Economic and Trade School (a provincial and ministerial key secondary technical school). It is the only higher vocational college of business in Sichuan Province, a high-skilled talent training base in Chengdu, and an important modern business high-quality technical and skilled talent training base in Sichuan Province. It has more than 100 years of vocational education culture and nearly 20 years of exploration and practice of higher vocational education reform. It has won the title of the first Sichuan Civilized Campus, the top 50 influential vocational colleges in Asia-Pacific, the advanced collective of poverty alleviation in 2020 by the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, the pilot university of the comprehensive reform of "three-dimensional education" in Sichuan Province, and the pilot school of the "one-stop" student community comprehensive management model construction of the Ministry of Education. The school has distinctive characteristics. Relying on the background of the business industry, Sichuan Business Vocational College actively adapts to the national strategy and the development of the service industry in Sichuan Province, and has built professional groups such as marketing and smart finance, connecting with the modern service industry and the professional system with modern business characteristics. At present, the college has 6 departments, 1 college, 1 department and 3 centers, with 36 majors, 2 provincial demonstration construction key majors, 2 backbone majors of the Ministry of Education's Higher Vocational Innovation and Development Action Plan, 4 national vocational education professional teaching resource library projects, 1 national training base, 1 national project, 8 national planning textbooks, 1 provincial maker space, 2 provincial productive training bases, and 9 provincial "curriculum ideological and political" demonstration courses. The employment prospects are good. Sichuan Business Vocational College actively promotes the reform of higher vocational education, explores the construction of the "1+1+1" model of industry-education integration, and cooperates with the government, industry, industry, and enterprises to promote the integration of school and enterprise, industry-education integration, and has nearly 200 school-enterprise cooperation enterprises. In addition, the college also builds a "junior college to undergraduate" channel for students to further their studies. The enrollment rates of junior college to undergraduate in 2020-2022 reached 17.26%, 24.15%, and 30.38%, respectively, ranking fourth among higher vocational colleges in the province in 2022.
