Sichuan Culture and Media Vocational College was established in 2005. It is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, filed with the Ministry of Education, included in the national plan for unified enrollment, and has the qualification to independently issue nationally recognized university diplomas. The college has more than 18,000 students and has two campuses, located in Chongzhou City, Chengdu, a historic city with a profound cultural heritage, and Mianzhu City, the hometown of Chinese New Year paintings and the place of Chinese famous wine Jiannanchun; the Chongzhou campus is located next to the Chongzhou high-speed railway station, connected to Wenjiang University Town, and has convenient transportation. The college has nine colleges and one teaching unit: School of Design and Media Arts, School of Performance and Art Education, School of Preschool Education, School of Culture, Tourism and Economics, School of Sports Industry, School of Information and Applied Technology, School of Marxism, School of International Education, School of Continuing Education, and Basic Department. There are 42 popular majors, including education, aviation, film and television performance, music and dance, art design, finance, tourism and hotel, cultural management, and economic management. These include: film and television multimedia technology, advertising design and production, photography and video technology, preschool education, music education, art education, dance education, fine arts education, physical education, and drone application technology (the first in the southwest). The college has a teaching team of nearly 1,000 people, and more than 200 "double-qualified digital" teachers, all of whom have more than 10 years of work experience in professional positions in related enterprises and institutions. There are nearly 100 professors, young and middle-aged experts, doctoral supervisors, and more than 200 teachers with middle and senior professional titles.
