Sichuan Judicial Police Officer Vocational College was founded in 1982. It is a full-time public political and legal college affiliated to the Sichuan Provincial Department of Justice. The college is located in Deyang City, Sichuan Province, a half-hour economic circle of Chengdu, a national comprehensive reform pilot zone for higher vocational education, a Chinese equipment science and technology city, and a national garden city. It currently has two campuses, Kaijiang and Qingyijiang, covering a total area of more than 800 acres, with superior location, convenient transportation and beautiful environment. The college is a pilot college for the reform of the recruitment and training system of political and legal police officers in the country, a provincial-level demonstrative higher vocational college, and the leading construction unit of the "Deyang Vocational Education Service Regional Social Management Innovation Demonstration Project", a key project of the "Deyang National Higher Vocational Education Comprehensive Reform Pilot Zone", a construction and cultivation unit of the "Double High Plan" in Sichuan Province, and a pilot college for the comprehensive reform of the "Three-All Education" in Sichuan Province. At the same time, the Tibetan-Chinese bilingual training base of the Ministry of Justice, the inter-provincial training base of the national judicial administration drug rehabilitation system, the Sichuan Provincial Professional and Technical Personnel Continuing Education Base, the Party School of the Party Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Justice, the Sichuan Lawyers College, the Sichuan Provincial and Deyang City Lawyers Industry Party School, the Deyang City Cadre Training University Base and the Deyang City High-skilled Talent Training Base are all built in the college. In addition, the college also relies on the industry and enterprises to build two cooperative education platforms, the Sichuan Judicial Vocational Education Base (Golden Shield College) and the Sichuan Security Vocational Education Alliance. The college recruits students from 11 provinces (cities and regions) including Sichuan, Chongqing, Tibet, Fujian, Qinghai, Guizhou, Henan, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Gansu and Guangxi, with more than 6,000 students on campus all year round. At the same time, it conducts training on police rank promotion, trainee lawyers, Tibetan-Chinese bilingual, legal services, police skills, etc. for the political and legal systems of provinces (regions) such as Sichuan, Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu and Guizhou, with an average annual training of more than 8,000 people in the past five years. It offers majors such as Criminal Execution, Administrative Execution, Criminal Psychological Measurement and Correction Technology, Community Correction, Criminal Investigation Technology, Security Prevention Technology, Intelligent Security Operation Management, Legal Affairs, Judicial Police, Judicial Information Technology, Judicial Information Security, Big Data Technology, Legal Secretary, Fire Rescue Technology, Cloud Computing Technology Application, Information Security Technology Application, and Building Fire Technology. Among them, Criminal Execution, Administrative Execution, Criminal Psychological Measurement and Correction Technology, Criminal Investigation Technology, Judicial Information Security, and Judicial Police are 6 majors in the Judicial Administrative Police category. It has 4 national political and legal school reform pilot majors, 2 central government financial support projects to enhance the professional service industry development capabilities, 1 provincial quality engineering construction major, 3 provincial demonstration school construction key majors, and 1 backbone major in the innovation and development action plan for higher vocational colleges. The college has a "double-qualified" teaching team with both moral integrity and talent, full of vitality, reasonable structure, new educational concepts, and strong scientific research capabilities. There are more than 100 teachers with professors, associate professors, doctoral and master's degrees. The college has established a "two-way exchange of talents" and "visiting scholars" system, and has long hired practical backbones, case-handling experts, well-known lawyers, senior judges, prosecutors and technical experts and skilled craftsmen from related enterprises from political and legal organs to participate in talent training and professional construction. The college has 47 on-campus experimental training rooms and 86 off-campus training and internship bases that are adapted to the construction and development of various majors. It has a comprehensive teaching building, experimental training building, academic exchange center, police gymnasium, library, command center, simulated prison, mock court, indoor shooting range, prison emergency handling virtual simulation training center, and security system production training base, which provide a strong guarantee for meeting the needs of judicial vocational education teaching experiments and training, strengthening students' practical combat capabilities, and cultivating and delivering high-quality application-oriented legal talents.
