Sichuan Wenxuan Vocational College is a full-time general college approved by the provincial government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is creating a comprehensive undergraduate university and is one of the first batch of "Sichuan Civilized Campuses" and "China's High-level Vocational Colleges". The college has two campuses in Chengdu and Suining. The Chengdu campus is located in Dayi County, "the most poetic small town in the country", and is a 22-minute high-speed rail ride from Chengdu city; Suining campus is a key project of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, located in Daying County, a "outstanding green ecological city" of the United Nations, and is a 47-minute high-speed rail ride from Chengdu city. It is in the 1-hour economic circle of Chongqing. The college has a long history of running schools, which can be traced back to 1993, and has been in operation for 30 years; it has strong school-running strength. Since 2008, it has invested 6.8 billion yuan to create a more beautiful campus, equip stronger teachers, and purchase better equipment; the school has achieved fruitful results, and mainstream media such as the People's Daily and the national party media have reported that the college, teachers, and students have won more than 200 national and provincial awards. The college covers an area of 4,080 acres and has a property area of 1.38 million square meters. There are currently 36,000 students in the school, distributed in 6 secondary colleges of education, medical care, management, information, intelligent manufacturing and foreign cooperation, and 44 majors (directions) in 11 categories. The college has rich cultural and sports activities and has successfully hosted 8 national and provincial sports competitions, including the 24th China University Basketball Three-Level League Men's National Finals and the Fourth Sichuan Province "Gongga Cup" Youth Campus Basketball League (College Men's Campus Group).
