Founded in May 2008, Sino-Swiss Hotel Management College of Beijing International Studies University is a four-year undergraduate university (private) approved by the Ministry of Education, with planned enrollment and nationally recognized academic qualifications. Over the past decade, Sino-Swiss Hotel Management College has been closely focusing on the demand for talents in the tourism and hotel industry. On the basis of absorbing the advanced experience of well-known hotel management application-oriented universities in various countries in the world, it has continuously explored the training mode of applied talents with hotel management as its feature. The college adheres to the school motto of "learning for practical use", adheres to the cultivation-oriented education, and emphasizes the high degree of unity between theory and practice. After more than ten years of construction and development, Sino-Swiss Hotel Management College has become a model of undergraduate education in domestic applied hotel management majors. In terms of curriculum settings that meet the actual needs of the industry, self-compiled textbooks, a teaching staff that combines practice and theory, and a unique campus culture, it has formed a unique talent training "Sino-Swiss model" for domestic hotel management majors. It is praised by the hotel industry as the "Huangpu Military Academy" for training Chinese hotel management talents. Graduates can obtain an undergraduate diploma and a bachelor's degree in management. The college is located in Daxing District, Beijing, with a total construction area of 101,000 square meters. At present, it has established good cooperative relations with world-renowned hotel management groups such as Marriott, Hilton, Accor, Shangri-La, Kempinski, and Hyatt, and has signed internship and employment agreements with more than 200 hotel companies in 28 provinces and cities across the country as well as Singapore, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and other countries. The college's interns and graduates are widely welcomed by the industry and society.
