Suqian Vocational and Technical College was founded in 2000. It is a full-time general college approved by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and registered by the Ministry of Education. It implements higher vocational education at the junior college level. The college is located in Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, a national civilized and hygienic city. It is located on the scenic Luoma Lake in the Higher Education Park of Hubin New District, Suqian City. It covers an area of more than 500 acres and has a garden-style independent campus with an elegant environment, advanced facilities and sufficient teachers. The college takes "innovative education, leading the future" as its mission, and explores the development path of vocational education through the process of casting the body, casting the heart and casting the soul. The college adheres to "market demand-oriented", "job requirements as the standard", and "high-paying employment as the goal" to improve the curriculum system of various majors, formulate talent training plans, innovate teaching models, tap students' potential, and improve teaching efficiency. The school has the School of Information Engineering, the School of Information Design, the School of Internet Finance, and the School of Internet Marketing. Focus on the construction of IT Internet majors, focus on the professional independent management system, and focus on the practical training of school-enterprise cooperation projects. The college currently has more than 190 full-time teachers, including 10 associate professors and senior professional titles, 2 provincial teaching masters, 6 provincial professional leaders, 4 provincial new teachers, and more than 60 part-time teachers from outside the school, and 48 specially hired guest, part-time professors and famous experts. The college has a modern teaching and training building with a construction area of 160,000 square meters. The college has complete teaching facilities and 20 training rooms. More than 200 internship and training bases of various majors have been established outside the school to fully meet the training needs of students. Among them, the majors of computer application technology and construction engineering technology are provincial scarce talent training bases, and the two majors of accounting computerization and computer network technology are provincial teaching reform pilot majors. The Modern Manufacturing Technology Training Center is a key construction project supported by the central government, the Construction Engineering Technology Professional Training Center is a vocational education training base supported by the central government, and the Accounting Computerization Training Center is a provincial demonstration training center.
