Taizhou Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time general college at the junior college level approved by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and sponsored by the People's Government of Taizhou City. The school has a long history of running schools. Its predecessor was the Zhejiang Taizhou Agricultural School founded in 1937 and the Zhejiang Huangyan Normal School founded in 1921. The two schools were merged in June 2003 and officially established in February 2007. The school is a construction unit of Zhejiang Province's "Double High Plan" and an experimental school of the Vocational Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education.
