Tangshan Maritime Vocational College (GB code: 14696) is a provincial full-time general higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Hebei Province and registered by the Ministry of Education. The school is located in the Beijing Caofeidian International Vocational Education City, Caofeidian District, Tangshan City, on the west-central coast of the Bohai Sea. It is the only international characteristic college in China established by UNESCO as a "World Vocational and Technical Education and Training Base". The school campus covers an area of 605 acres and a building area of 280,000 square meters. The school invested more than 2 billion yuan to build a new campus with a beautiful environment and first-class facilities. The school has 9 teaching units including the School of Marine Engineering, the School of Transportation, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Business and Tourism, the School of Intelligent Engineering, the School of International Education, the School of Marxism, the School of Sports and Art, and the Jiangu Technical School.
