The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen is a university approved by the Ministry of Education of China and established in accordance with the Regulations on Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools. The university is committed to creating a first-class research university based in China and facing the world, and is committed to cultivating innovative high-level talents with international vision, Chinese tradition and social responsibility. School Emblem and School Motto - CUHK uses the "Phoenix" in Chinese mythology as its school emblem.
