Tianjin Mechanical and Electrical Vocational and Technical College, affiliated to Tianjin Baili Machinery Equipment Group, is located in Haihe Education Park, Jinnan District, Tianjin. It is a full-time state-run general college approved by the Tianjin Municipal Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is a national high-quality junior college, a national backbone vocational college in the machinery industry, a national vocational college digital experimental school and a national national defense education characteristic demonstration school. It has been selected into the list of high-level vocational college construction units in Tianjin. The school's operation can be traced back to the Tianjin Amateur Mechanical College and Tianjin Mechanical and Electrical Industrial School held in 1964. In 2001, it was approved by the Tianjin Municipal Government to become one of the first batch of higher vocational colleges.
